Mark is a gun owner and avid hunter. He understands that the right to bear arms is a constitutional right, and government should protect that right, not erode it.

 

Every person has the right to defend themselves, their family, and their neighbor.

 

At the same time, every family is horrified at the violence we too often see — we all want our families and children safe. Mark was on campus during the Virginia Tech massacre in 2007, so he understands the trauma that comes from such heinous events.

 

Mark understands that we must do everything we can to ensure community safety, without taking away guns from law-abiding citizens.
